Monthly Writing Groups
Monthly writing groups are designed to serve the unique needs of local LGBTQIA+ communities. Each group is shaped by its participants, creating a welcoming space for connection, creativity, and storytelling. Whether you're an experienced writer or just starting out, these gatherings are all about building confidence, sharing ideas, and supporting one another.
Bi-Monthly Webinars
Every second month, Q-Lit will offer an online webinar exclusively for our writing groups and Q-Lit members. These sessions feature guest writers and industry professionals who share insights, run creative exercises, and offer advice on craft and publishing. They’re a chance to learn, ask questions, and feel connected to the wider Q-Lit network.
Yearly Writers Retreat
Once a year, Q-Lit will bring together writers from all our groups across Victoria for a weekend retreat. It’s a chance to meet face-to-face, dive deeper into your writing, and celebrate the vibrant community we’re building together. The retreat includes workshops, quiet writing time, group discussions, and a joyful sense of creative camaraderie.
